reggae and dancehall icon Samini has taken a moment to reflect on his long and
successful career in the music industry, sharing an inspiring message with fans
on social media.
In a post
shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the award-winning
musician revealed that he became a star at the age of 21 and continues to
thrive in the industry at 44.
According
to Samini, his journey has been made possible by the support of fans and people
who believed in his talent from the beginning.
“I became
a star at 21 and I’m still thriving at 44 and counting. All I can say is thank
you to those who believed,” he wrote.
The
veteran musician also used the opportunity to encourage young people,
especially those who are currently 21 years old, to remain focused on their
dreams and avoid distractions that do not add value to their lives.
Samini
explained that maturity often teaches people to stay calm and selective about
what they give their attention to.

“If you
are 21 this is for you… The more mature you get the quieter you become,” he
said.
He
further advised fans not to allow things that bring no value to their lives to
drain their energy.
“Let
nothing that adds zero to your value drain part of you because you paid
attention,” he added.
Samini
