I Became a Star at 21 and I’m Still Thriving at 44 – Samini Celebrates His Success Journey

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall icon Samini has taken a moment to reflect on his long and successful career in the music industry, sharing an inspiring message with fans on social media.

In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the award-winning musician revealed that he became a star at the age of 21 and continues to thrive in the industry at 44.

According to Samini, his journey has been made possible by the support of fans and people who believed in his talent from the beginning.

“I became a star at 21 and I’m still thriving at 44 and counting. All I can say is thank you to those who believed,” he wrote.

The veteran musician also used the opportunity to encourage young people, especially those who are currently 21 years old, to remain focused on their dreams and avoid distractions that do not add value to their lives.

Samini explained that maturity often teaches people to stay calm and selective about what they give their attention to.

“If you are 21 this is for you… The more mature you get the quieter you become,” he said.

He further advised fans not to allow things that bring no value to their lives to drain their energy.

“Let nothing that adds zero to your value drain part of you because you paid attention,” he added.

Samini ended his message by expressing gratitude to his supporters for their continued love throughout his career.

“Love you for loving SAMINI. We dey together forever,” he wrote.

The post has since attracted reactions from fans on social media, many of whom praised the musician for his inspiring words and celebrated his longevity in Ghana’s music industry.
