Ghanaian
comic actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has
shared an emotional personal story, revealing that a recent DNA test showed
that one of the children he had been raising for nearly ten years is not his
biological child.
The actor
made the revelation during a TikTok Live session, where he opened up
about the situation and how he handled the shocking discovery.
According
to LilWin, he had considered sharing the DNA test results and photos of the
child publicly to prove his claim. However, fellow actor Kwame Gee advised him
against doing so.
Speaking
during the live session, LilWin explained that although the discovery could
have made many people angry, he chose to remain calm and accept the situation.
“There is
one child among my children whom I have fathered for about 10 years, but the
child is not mine. I have many children, but one of them isn't mine,” he said.
He added
that when the DNA results confirmed the truth, he did not react with anger or
frustration.
“Recently,
when we went to check and I realised the child wasn't mine, I didn't get angry
or anything,” he shared.
The
Kumawood star also used the opportunity to advise other parents who may find
themselves in similar situations. According to him, reacting with anger will
not solve the issue.
“The DNA
issue is a true story that happened to me, and I want to tell everyone that if
the same thing happens to you, don't get angry about it because, at the end of
the day, in one way or another, we still take care of other people's children,”
he noted.
LilWin
further revealed that the DNA result did not completely shock him because he
had long suspected that the child might not be biologically his.
Despite
the suspicion, he said he chose to raise the child normally without treating
them differently.
“The
truth is that from the beginning, I suspected the child wasn't mine, but I took
it normally,” he explained.
The actor
also highlighted his commitment to helping others, noting that he runs a school
where he supports and takes care of many children who are not biologically
related to him. He also mentioned his support for widows and vulnerable people
in society.
However,
LilWin expressed concern about situations where a woman knowingly allows a man
to raise a child that is not his.

“The only
issue I have is when a woman knows a child is not for a particular man, that
man is taking care of the child, and she still wants to disturb him,” he added.
LilWin’s revelation has sparked conversations on social media about DNA testing, honesty in relationships, and the responsibilities of parenthood. Many fans have praised the actor for his calm reaction and mature approach to the situation.
