In an interview with Famous TV, popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, AKA Asake, revealed how difficult his journey was at the start of his career. He said some event organizers refused to let him perform simply because he sang in Yoruba.

Reflecting on his rise to fame, Asake said his success came through faith, self-belief, and persistence.

"How I got to where I am today is by God's grace, self-belief, consistency, and endurance. At some point, many people said no to me; they wouldn't let me perform at shows because I spoke Yoruba. But thank God I didn't stop, and I kept believing in myself," he said.

Despite the early setbacks, Asake continued to pursue his passion, and today, he has become a household name in Nigeria and beyond.

"Now, look at where I am today. I am so happy for myself," he added.

Asake's story is a reminder that staying true to yourself, working hard, and having faith can overcome rejection and open doors to success. For aspiring artists, his journey serves as proof that persistence and self-belief are key to achieving your dreams.
