Ghanaian gospel musician Brother Sammy, known in private life as Samuel Opoku, has revealed that his marriage to his France-based wife, Obaa Yaa, has officially come to an end.
The outspoken gospel singer made the revelation during an appearance on United Showbiz on UTV Ghana on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Speaking during the interview, Brother Sammy clarified that he was not the one who initiated the divorce. According to him, the decision to end the marriage came from his wife.
“I haven’t ended my marriage. It is I who has been divorced,” he said during the discussion.

“During our conversations, they said that my wife instructed them to return the drinks,” he explained.
